Аннотация:

 The article covers the issue of Inner Asia reclamation of Old Believers in Imperial, Soviet and post-Soviet periods. Special attention is given to inner migration flows of Old Believers in the context of new political regime. Based on comparative analysis of archive documents the author shows ambiguity of state policy where it stays unclear whether Old Believers were forced to change location or it's a result of migration flow. At conclusion the author claims that during migration to new territories communes were involved in difficult process of adjustment creating compact area of living and integrating to multi-religious environment.
